Future Craft Policy Paper
The policy paper stemming from the FutureCraft project will synthesize key project findings and recommendations, focusing on how to advance the entrepreneurial ecosystem and foster future literacy across the participating countries: Finland, Norway, Bosnia, and Türkiye. It serves as a valuable resource for influencing decision-making processes and advocating for change at the governmental or organisational level.
Key challenges will be addressed in the document include the reliance on traditional forecasting and strategic planning methodologies which are insufficient for navigating the complexities of the contemporary global context. It highlights the need to address the gap where young individuals and ecosystem facilitators are unprepared for future challenges, thus hindering their ability to effectively guide young entrepreneurs. The paper advocates for a shift towards cultivating future literacy to build adaptability and resilience in an era marked by rapid technological advancements and societal shifts.
The policy paper will outline detailed steps for implementing flexible, innovative strategies for addressing future uncertainties, showcasing the success of the project’s approach. Recommendations will focus on integrating future literacy into comprehensive business strategies, promoting cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange, and equipping the next generation of business leaders with the tools for success in a globally unstable landscape.
